About Our Client

Job Summary

• We are seeking a Supply Chain Coordinator to support our purchasing, logistics, and import
• operations, ensuring compliance and efficiency. Responsibilities include processing purchase
• orders, coordinating with suppliers, verifying import documents, and overseeing customs
• clearance. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and skilled in problem-solving and
• vendor coordination to ensure smooth and timely deliveries.

Job Description

• Manage purchase order operations and review purchase orders and contracts for
• compliance with company and departmental policies.
• ● Communicate with suppliers to resolve problems that may arise regarding delivery,
• quality, price, or conditions of sale.
• ● Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements in purchasing, inventory
• control, and logistics to reduce cost and enhance workflow efficiency and optimization
• ● Review and verify import documents, ensuring compliance with various import
• regulations, policies, and procedures, as well as company requirements.
• ● Classify goods using the appropriate customs tariff codes and stay up-to-date on
• customs regulations, tariff changes, and international trade policies.
• ● Oversee the customs clearance process, track shipments from origin to destination, and
• coordinate with the internal team, vendors, customers, shipping agents, freight
• forwarders, shipping lines, customs brokers, and government agencies to ensure
• smooth and timely deliveries.
• ● Calculate and manage duties, taxes, and other charges associated with import activities,
• ensuring cost efficiency and compliance.
• ● Proactively manage and mitigate risks in customs clearance and logistics, addressing
• potential compliance issues, delays, fines, or seizures before they escalate.
• ● Maintain accurate records of all customs transactions and generate reports on customs
• and logistics activities for management review.
• ● Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or work experience equivalent.
• Understanding of international trade regulations and logistics operations. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to exercise tact,
• courtesy, and ethics when dealing with vendors, co-workers, and customers.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple
• tasks efficiently.
• Proactive self-starter with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Google Suite
• Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration,
• Management, or a related field.
• 1?2 years of experience in purchasing, claims, logistics, or supply chain management.
• Proven experience with transportation management, customs compliance, and trade
• regulations.
• Proficiency in inventory management or ERP software.
• Bilingual in Korean and English to effectively communicate with vendors and partners.
