About Our Client
Job Summary
We are looking a product development specialist to support in overseeing every element of the product from design to launch and beyond while ensuring it delivers value to product development manager and working closely with our major retailer. The ideal candidate is sharp, highly analytical, well-disciplined, and logically minded with a strong design/fashion/trend sense. Experience in working with factories and vendors in fashion, beauty and /cosmetics is required.
Job Description
- Support the product development team in all aspects of creation and launch.
- Assist in establishing and maintaining product development timelines, ensuring timely project completion.
- Coordinate communication with cross-functional teams in U.S, Korea, and China.
- Assist in the research and development of new products, expanding the existing product line.
- Conduct regular product testing and assessment to ensure product performance, quality and safety.
- Evaluate all incoming samples in close collaboration with factories and the sourcing team.
- Support team in coordinating product samples for photoshoots, retailers, and marketing needs.
- Collaborate with the team to brainstorm and generate new product ideas based on market trends, customer feedback, and brand vision.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitor products, and consumer preferences.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects
- Creative mindset with a sharp eye for trends, innovation, and attention to detail
- Proactive approach, skilled at anticipating needs and taking initiative in job responsibilities.
- Strong understanding of project workflows and effective cross-functional and external partner communication.
- Proficient in computer tools, including Excel and PowerPoint, Photoshop or illustration skills are a plus.
- Required experience in working with factories and vendors in fashion, beauty, and/or cosmetics
- Bilingual in Korean and English preferred
