Job Summary
This is a full-time on-site role as a Warehouse Supervisor. As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations in the warehouse, including supervising staff, managing shipping and receiving activities, coordinating material handling, and ensuring efficient inventory control. This role requires strong leadership and organizational skills.
Job Description
- Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance operations
- Strategically manage the warehouse in compliance with the company’s policies and vision
- Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization
- Initiate, coordinate, and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures
- Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security
- Manage stock control and reconcile with the data storage system
- Produce reports and statistics regularly (IN/OUT) status report, dead stock report
- Prepare annual budget
- Adhere to all warehousing, handling, and shipping legislation requirements
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, and transport companies
- Plan work rotas, assign tasks appropriately, and appraise results
- Recruit, select, orient, coach, and motivate employees
- Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services provided
- Need to be on call after regular working hours to deal with customer’s emergency requests occasionally
Qualifications
- Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices
- Working in the warehouse located in the customer's facility
- Proven work experience as a Warehouse Supervisor
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
