Job Description

  • -Prepares documents for originating new loans, renewals and extensions of loan maturities for existing
  • loans. Prepares offer letters, letters of intent, credit analysis requests, applications for loan to GM and
  • H/O, loan summaries, letters of confirmation, and other related documents.
  • -Updates credit documents: Requests customers’ credit related documents such as financial
  • statements.
  • -Maintains and files legal documents: Collects all necessary legal documents and files U.C.C. filing
  • statements.
  • -Assists loan managers in maintaining a sound loan portfolio and managing problem loans.
  • -Prepares documents for opening and closing of deposit accounts including Time Deposit renewals.
  • -Adds and maintains the CIF (Customer Information File) for deposit and loan accounts. Requests to
  • Compliance Team to Screen customers and signers for OFAC purposes, including re-screening after
  • OFAC changes.
  • -Reviews and updates collateral related documents such as fire insurance expiry date, standby-L/C
  • expiry date, and U.C.C. expiry date on a weekly basis.
  • -Prepares internal and monthly reports to H/O as required.
  • -Prepares renewal list.
  • -Prepares problem loan list and watch list.
  • -Prepares action plans for problem loans and watch loans.

Qualifications

  • Understanding of loan policy.
  • -Understanding guidelines for loan operation.
  • -Understanding credit review policy.
  • -Understanding of the related internal/external regulations and policies, including the Branch’s BSA
  • /AML/OFAC policies and procedures ? specifically including applicable Customer Identification
  • Program, Customer Due Diligence and Enhanced Due Diligence policies of the branch.
  • - Bilingual (Korean and English)
