Job Summary

Seeking to hire a Head of Sales and Marketing (Business Development) who will be responsible for holistically supervising and organizing our sales team. You will oversee managing organizational sales by developing business plans, meeting planned goals, and coordinating with our marketing department on lead generation. You will also be tasked with overseeing the activities and performance of your sales team by developing metrics for tracking sales goals, individual sales targets, and facilitate the ongoing training of your salespeople.

Job Description

  • Major Responsibilities
  • - Managing organizational sales, marketing, and business development by developing a business plan that covers sales, revenue, and expense controls.
  • - Manage and grow a sales team of 25 to 40. Experience with managing and growth is a must.
  • - Meeting planned sales goals and setting individual sales targets with the sales team Tracking sales goals and reporting results as necessary.
  • - Overseeing the activities and performance of the sales team and coordinating with marketing on lead generation.
  • - The ongoing training of salespeople and developing sales team through motivation, counseling, and product knowledge education.
  • - Promoting the organization and products and understand our ideal customers and how they relate to our products.
  • - Recruit, hire, and train sales team and set sales goals, compare performance to goals, and adjust goals as needed.
  • - Assess current team processes and procedures, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement salesforces.
  • - Develop individual quotas and assign territories for team members and provide detailed and accurate sales forecasts and coach, mentor, and provide feedback to team members.
  • - Foster a competitive yet collaborative team environment and assess individual performance through observation and measurement, and suggest corrective actions as needed.
  • - Reviews production and manufacturing commitments/mandates to ensure safety, quality, financial, cost, and delivery goals and standards are met.
  • - Assists chief operating officer with long-range operating goals, workforce planning, expansion efforts, and implementation of new and advanced technology.
  • - Identifies and shares training opportunities for staff to build and improve skills.
  • - Organizes and spearhead the operational management functions and teams for optimal, efficient operations.
  • - Works with chief financial officer to develop operating budget and cost management
  • - Delivers progress and production reports to executive team members as requested.
  • - Support and supervises SCM, Warehouse, Purchase, Maintenance, and Facilities and etc.
  • - Performs other related duties as assigned; S&OP, Quality, SCM, Revenue etc

Qualifications

  • - A candidate who has more than 20+ years of experience in managing overall Sales,
  • marketing, Business development and sales team operation and relevant experience in
  • cosmetic manufacturing fields
  • - Strategic and tactical sales and marketing for Cosmetics Contract Manufacturing sources
  • - Proactively manage CM execution and planning to support mid to high volume manufacturing
  • - Manage Direct Order fulfillment process and customer commit dates
  • - Risk mitigation, including Excess and Obsolescence management
  • - Development and execution of outsourced assemblies and strategic component alternate sourcing plans
  • - Identify and collaborate on Supplier Management initiatives (Material Management, Lead- time reduction, Cost reductions)
  • - Identify and implement improvements to the Outsourcing and Contract Manufacturing
  • process that enhance Customer Satisfaction, accelerate Supply Chain ramp to volume,
  • reduce Cost and closely monitor Inventory levels
  • - Negotiate and manage strategic Supply and Service agreements with contract manufacturing
  • - Ensure effective 360-degree communication and cross-functional support for day-to-day
  • issue management
  • - Support/Conduct supply chain, strategic vendor and CM communications for multiple locations ? status and report to executive management
