Global leader in the semiconductor industry, specialized in development, manufacturing and distribution of passive electronic components.
Job Summary
This role will act as a liaison between our clients in the automotive industry and our sales team, providing any technical support when necessary.
Job Description
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform following list of essential functions below which includes but is not limited to:
- - Provide technical support and product solutions to customers.
- - Identify key customers and hold technical meetings and seminars.
- - Develop Territory Sales Plan in conjunction with management. Ensure goals and initiatives are met per MBO.
- - Maintain territory - prioritize time & resources to assigned customers. Grow and qualify new customers based on strategic plan goals.
- - Identify key buying influences, applications and/or value-add opportunities by customer.
- - Facilitate communication with inside support and factories to drive new opportunities.
- - Develop & manage Part Numbers (PN) cross reference tool.
- - Attend factory audits and/or industry-sponsored training sessions.
- - Work with all departments on Continuous Quality Improvement opportunities.
- - Recognize customers’ needs and propose customized solutions.
- - Engage with R&D to develop new products for next generation designs.
- - Expand foot print on IC reference designs.
- - Support sales team for sales and market share increase with distribution customers.
- - Manage product development schedule based on customers’ deadlines.
Qualifications
- Education/Training and Experience:
- - 5+ years of passive component engineering experience
- - Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent field
- - Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- - Demonstrated experience in successful customer and team relationships
- - Self-starter with analytical and business acumen
- - Excellent teamwork skills
- - Must be able to travel about 25% + of the time
