Job Summary

• As an Inventory Control Associate, you will operate inventory management and
• conduct the return merchandise authorization process, spearheaded as an inventory
• control specialist in the distribution center. This position will report to Sr. Director of
• Logistics and work with other business stakeholders in New York HQ.

Job Description

• Inventory Control (80%):
• - Analyze, recommend, and execute enhancements to inventory stocking strategies, fulfillment process
• flows, and optimization opportunities
• - Supervise inventory stocking and verification of received items to their proper bin/stock location
• - Track all inventory movement for inbound, storage, outbound, returned goods, and disposal items and
• keep inventory records up to date on a system on a daily basis
• - Handle all matters related to inventory control, checking the quality of designated products in the
• Distribution center
• - Prepare inventory, quality investigations, and audits
• - Lead teams to conduct audits on all inbound and outbound activities
• - Understand on effective system components, average costs, and general ledgers
• - Supervise inventory control daily, providing backup support as needed
• - Conduct daily inventory count based on ABC grouping rules and research inventory discrepancies
• - Assist in determining root causes of inventory discrepancies and support implementing corrective
• actions to eliminate repetitive errors
• - Make a daily cycle count report and develop follow-up reports for physical inventory count based on
• weekly, monthly, and quarterly cycle count plan
• ? RMA (20%):
• - Coordinate returned goods and quality inspection to sort out per SKU and/or customer
• - Collaborate with SCM/Logistics team to update inventory status on the system according to inspection
• results
• - Coordinate inventory movement with the floor supervisor for restocking in the distribution center,
• communicated with SCM team for inventory disposal

Qualifications

• - A Bachelor’s degree in Business, SCM, or a related field
• - A minimum of 2 years in warehouse operations is preferred
• - Strong working knowledge in Microsoft Office Suites, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and
• inventory management aspects on NetSuite or ERP
• - Proven working experience or ability to show familiarity with inventory industry standards
• - Able to work independently or collaboratively with a minimum of supervision on routine work in a
• dynamic working environment
• - Able to learn and understand receiving/picking/replenishment processes within the facility,
• understanding the completion of system transactions and overall impact on inventory control
• - Strong attention to detail, organizational skills with communication skills
• - Proactive and diligent with a positive mindset
