Job Summary
- The Training and Development Specialist will focus on developing, managing, and measuring development and training
- activities. The Training and Development Specialist will track and report training results, including the cost and benefit of training, identify opportunities to improve training with respect to effectiveness and efficiency and work with other teams to identify and plan training needs to eliminate plant losses and human error from the production process based on root cause analysis. The Training and Development Specialist must work with on-the-job training systems to develop the skills and abilities of the entire workforce as well as conduct skill, knowledge, and value assessments on both the salary and hourly workforce. They will also need to optimize the employee suggestion process to promote people involvement and ensure effective communication throughout the facility by utilizing the communication network.

Qualifications
- Basic Qualifications:
- - Bachelor's degree in HR or a related field;
- - Prior experience in manufacturing, training, or human resources;
- - Self-directed and proficient at multi-tasking;
- - Available to work variable shifts, including some weekends.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- - Advanced degree with concentrations in HR, Training & Development, Education, or Psychology;
- - Experience with adult learning systems and processes;
- - Possess exceptional oral and written communications skills;
- - Strong problem solving and organization skills;
- - Experience working with projects from inception to completion;
- - Excellent interpersonal skills - must be able to successfully interact with all levels of the organization to achieve expected results;
- - Effective written and verbal communication skills, including ability to present in front of an audience;
- - Knowledge of LEAN manufacturing methodologies;
- - Some travel may be required, approximately 10% domestically and internationally;
- - Bilingual (English and Korean).
