About Our Client

Job Summary

Disaster Prevention Manager Coordinates Fire safety shifts and enforces fire safety rules keeping them up to date. He/she maintains contacting with the relevant authorities, performing fire safety reports, declarations, managing the fire related permissions. As a Part leader, He/she have to know the overall work process of fire safety related managing work. He/she have to focus on improving safety by using his/her experience to anticipate, recognize, evaluate, and control fire hazards in the workplace. Evaluates workplace compliance with regard to state and federal fire related regulations and standards. enforce adherence to laws and regulations governing the fire. And the manager is primarily responsible for guiding and managing other fire safety specialists within the field and evaluating their performance. This person must should possess excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, and technical skills within their field. Carrying out tasks the possible best way based on the job description, and based on the superior’s instructions. Creating reports keep due to date. Any other task what is given by the employee’s superior and requires similar skills and competence. Additional responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following.

Job Description

  • ? Plan and execute all emergency trainings.
  • ? Set fire safety part KPIs and goals and manage the progress of Part work they can achieve KPIs.
  • ? Conduct interviews and evaluations for Part recruitment, and consult with HR so that Part member can be hired within the schedule.
  • ? Manage Part member so that they can perform tasks quickly through training.
  • ? Identify problems in Part work and make an effort to improve/resolve them.
  • ? When an emergency issue occurs, report it and work together with relevant personnel to resolve the issue
  • ? Report to the Group Leader on a regular basis(Weekly/Monthly) on Part work, and immediately report in case of emergency.
  • ? Checking the worktime and the conditions of subordinates fit to work, besides complying the necessary registration and authorization procedures.
  • ? Executing tasks based on the Performance Management System, identifying projects and providing feedback.
  • ? Keeping job descriptions up to date.
  • ? Improving and motivating subordinates.
  • ? Tracking and improving the satisfaction level of subordinates.
  • ? All employees are required to follow the labor, fire, and environmental safety regulations and procedures of the company.
  • ? Keeping the work area clean and well organized, following safety rules on work safety tools, and proper usage of personal safety equipment.
  • ? Tracking and maintaining the necessary health checks for being fit to work.
  • ? Establish work-related regulations and standards and keep them up to date
  • ? Regularly inspect, evaluate, and improve risks related to fire in the plant

  • ? Action / Results oriented: Problem solving, attitude, deliver projects on time with high quality
  • ? Strong knowledge of experience working with NFPA and state/local regulations and requirements
  • ? Strong presentation skills to clearly articulate: business problems, analytical approaches, potential solutions & recommendations
  • ? Ability to draw conclusions and make recommendations per team goals
  • ? Ability to anticipate “what if” scenarios
  • ? High level of written and verbal communication
  • ? Self-motivated: energetic, enjoys working at quick pace

Qualifications

  • ? Bachelor's degree
  • ? Minimum of 8 years of experience in similar position, with strong foundation in project management.
  • ? Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills
  • ? Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interface with various level of employees within all areas of the organization including hourly employees to Senior Leadership
  • ? Ability to build effective cross functional relationships internally and externally
  • ? Demonstrated technical problem-solving ability
  • ? Goal oriented self-starter with ability to lead teams
  • ? Must have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • ? Ability to work overtime as required
  • PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • ? Bachelor's degree in chemistry/chemical engineering, Fire safety and relevant experience.
  • ? Bilingual English / Korean
  • ? Extensive knowledge in Data Analytics utilizing MS Excel, MS Access or other database applications
  • ? Excellent communication skills: verbal, written, presentation.
  • ? Critical thinking and an analytical mindset.
  • ? Demonstrated teamwork and effectiveness in accomplishing goal.
