Job Summary

  • Process maintenance manager in charge of designing and implementing manufacturing processes and equipment within their field. You are primarily responsible for ensuring continual improvement related to process defect rate, production quantity and Equipment KPI. And you are primarily responsible for guiding and managing other engineers within the field and evaluating their performance. This person must possess excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, and technical skills within their field. This position typically requires decision-making, team-building, and leadership abilities; a maintenance manager should also stay up-to-date machine condition within their field. This person should be supervising other engineers and employees. Manager must have effective communication skills to interact with all levels of the organization to communicate and resolve process issues in a timely manner. Additional responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following.
  • The Job of Electrode Maintenance is to develop and optimize the electrode machine to improve quality/productivity and sustainability of EV battery production through high level of technical knowledge. This requires defect reduction activity; critical thinking; coming up with improvement action item through product analysis; and managing short/long term project. In this role you will be supporting one process area “Electrode; Powder, Mixing, Coating, Slitting and Press” part of the manufacturing machine.

Job Description

  • ? Organizing, controlling and supervising subordinates. Completing tasks relative to the job, ensuring that the work processes meet the standards that are expected in a timely manner
  • ? Lead investigations and cause analysis of defect occurrences. Enforcement of all improvement measures and continuous monitoring role
  • ? Continues improvement activity to optimize and enhance the efficiency of quality and Process systems
  • ? Creating the necessary reports and analysis for the Equipment Group leader or other departments to provide up to date information.
  • ? Maintenance analysis of deficient products, abnormality reports, and taking the necessary measures.
  • ? Monitoring the production machine according to the key parameters, supporting production and improving production efficiency.
  • The maintenance manager has to be able to work and appear at work on time.
  • Managing the maintenance, repair and proper function of production equipment, spare parts as well.
  • ? Responsible for organizing continuous training of maintenance workers, determinate education plan and synchronize it with the daily tasks
  • ? A subordinate and this position has to take care of contacting vendors to procure the MRO & Spare parts necessary materials and services for maintenance and repair.
  • ? Responsible for preparation of yearly budget plans.
  • ? A subordinate and this position has to learn and use the supporting system of the maintenance (MAXIMO) and the manufacturing executing system (MES).
  • ? A subordinate and this position is required to review the documentation of maintenance tasks, and considering the suggestions and take the proper measures about repair and prevention in case of malfunctioning.
  • ? Sharing reports and educational materials with the direct superior and with other departments.
  • ? Responsible for executing tasks in a timely manner, providing correct data and reports.
  • ? Driving and monitoring KPI to accomplish the goals of StarPluse.
  • ? Quality assurance, EHS duties and responsibilities
  • ? Keeping the work area clean and well organized, following safety rules on work safety tools, and proper usage of personal safety equipment.

Qualifications

  • ? Engineering degree in machinery, electrical, PLC, Pneumatic and Oil pressure and relevant experience.
  • ? Minimum of 8 years working experience in maintenance or industrial automation.
  • ? Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interface with various level of employees within all areas of the organization including hourly employees to Senior leadership
  • ? Demonstrated technical problem-solving ability
  • ? Must have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • ? Ability to work overtime as required
  • PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • ? Engineering degree in Mechanical or Electrical
  • ? Experience in and familiar with Machine/Equipment and Mass production field.
  • ? Extensive knowledge in Data Analytics utilizing MS Excel or other database applications
  • ? Knowledge of Line Balance(LOB), Bottleneck Analysis machine and line.
  • ? Critical thinking and an analytical mindset.
