Job Summary

The company is looking for a Product Planning Specialist. Listed below is a detailed description of the roles and responsibilities for this position.

Job Description

  • - Develop plans for new HIMACS products (color, patterns) and establish new product launch strategies (manufactured products, OEM products).
  • - Track and evaluate the effectiveness of HIMACS new product launches to identify best practices and areas for optimization
  • - Perform in-depth analysis in new product sales performance to support strategic decision making
  • - Operate development systems and new product quality verification systems related to new product development.
  • - Handle administrative and data related support to ensure administrative accuracy and availability.
  • - Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • To performance this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential role and responsibility. Listed below are the minimum and/or desired requirements of the position including education, work experience and knowledge & skills.
  • Education and Work Experience:
  • - Experience with product planning / development, as well as project management is preferred
  • - Experience in sales analysis is preferred
  • - Bachelor’s degree in business administration / economics / industrial engineering
  • - 1-3 years of chemical and construction material industry experience is preferred but not required
  • Knowledge and Skills:
  • - Bilingual in Korean and English
  • - Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • - Highly refined planning and organization skills that balance work and responsibilities in a timely manner
  • - Enjoy working with others and being a leader to achieve specific goals
  • - Highly motivated, quick-learner with ability to adapt in a new working environment
  • - Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • - Data analysis skills & Time-sensitive decision making skills
  • - Complex problem solving, Critical thinking and multitasking
  • - Time & Risk management
  • Physical Demands:
  • - Position requires regular interaction with customers and clients.
  • - Position requires sitting at a desk working on a computer for at least 2/3 of time.
  • - Position requires minimal lifting up to 10lbs.
  • - Position requires regular and reliable attendance.
  • · Position requires travel up to _5_% of time, including overnight travel in the territory.
