Job Description

  • Regulatory Reporting Analyst ? Primary Roles & Responsibilities
  • Workers’ Compensation Regulatory Management
  • - Compile and submit Policy and Proof of Coverage data to applicable state and national Workers’ Compensation (WC) bureaus.
  • - Continuously monitor for errors and bureau criticism in Unit Statistical Reporting (USR) data; collaborate with agency and underwriting teams to resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • - Track Workers’ Compensation Circulars for all states and report changes in forms, rates, or rules to management.
  • - Collaborate with IT and Underwriting teams to implement regulatory updates into internal systems to maintain compliance.
  • - Assist Underwriting with regulatory documentation, including ERM-14 forms and ownership information.
  • - Investigate and resolve DMV data discrepancies impacting bureau reporting.
  • - Stay informed on legal and regulatory developments affecting Workers’ Compensation and report relevant updates internally.
  • - Maintain positive working relationships with regulatory authorities to ensure effective communication and timely issue resolution.

  • - Monitor incoming data requests and notifications from state agencies and regulatory bureaus.
  • - Work cross-functionally with Accounting, IT, and Claims departments to gather data for required reports.
  • - Ensure accurate and timely submission of all regulatory reports and assessments to appropriate state agencies and bureaus.
  • - Track and organize incoming invoices from regulatory bodies; maintain accurate records.
  • - Coordinate with Accounting for timely invoice payments, including check issuance or online payments with management approval.
  • - Assist with monitoring state licensing and producer appointments to ensure compliance with state insurance regulations.

Qualifications

  • - College Graduate (Bachelor’s Degree)
  • - Experience in Workers’ Compensation Regulations and Reporting
  • - Strong Organizational and Multi-Tasking Skills
  • - Strong Time Management Skills
  • - Strong Communication Skills
  • - Strong Analytical Skills
  • - Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Office, with a focus on Excel
  • - US citizen / Permanent Resident
