Job Summary

Job Description

• Job Responsibilities:
• 1-Product Design and Development: Conduct concept design and prototype creation for new products based on market demands and customer feedback. Research and select suitable materials to ensure product quality and functionality.
• 2-Product Testing and Optimization: Perform performance and durability testing on new products to ensure compliance with industry standards and company quality requirements. Identify potential issues and propose solutions to optimize designs.
• 3-Collaboration with Production: Ensure effective communication between the R&D team and the production team to smoothly translate designs into actual products. Collect and analyze customer feedback to adjust and improve existing products.
• 4-Industry Trend Tracking: Stay updated on new technologies, materials, and design trends in the bag industry. Explore and implement new production processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• 5-Progress Monitoring: Supervise the progress of R&D projects to ensure timely delivery. Write and maintain documentation related to R&D, including design specifications and test reports.

Qualifications

• 1-Work Experience: 5-10 years of relevant experience.
• 2-Language Proficiency: Proficient in English/Indonesian/Korean; English is preferred.
• 3-Management Skills: Strong team management skills, charisma, and a sense of responsibility.
• Work Location:
• Indonesia (Opportunity to apply for relocation back home depending on business conditions)
• Reporting Line: The R&D Director reports to the Head of Global Fabric Development.
