Job Summary

Our client is now seeking a highly qualified and experienced Accounting Manager. The Accounting Manager will play a pivotal role in managing and overseeing our financial operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and contributing to the overall financial health of the organization.

Job Description

• - Managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department
• - Managing, reviewing and approving Finance Departments’ Journal Entries
• - Monitoring and analyzing the financial data
• - Assisting Controller to prepare financial reports and/or financial statements for the company
• - Reviewing and analyzing the corporate tax return
• - Reviewing and analyzing sales tax transactions
• - In-charge of internal and external audits
• - Preparing and drafting performance reports for the Parent Company
• - In-charge of month end, quarter end, and year end closings
• - Establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies and principles
• - Working on ad-hoc projects assigned by the Controller
• - Lead, mentor, and manage the accounting team, promoting a culture of professionalism and excellence.
• - Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.

Qualifications

• - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
• - Minimum of 10 years of progressive accounting and finance experience, with at least 5 years in a management role.
• - Strong understanding of accounting knowledge & US GAAP.
• - Proficiency in Excel (V-lookup, Pivot Table is mandatory).
• - Close attention to detail
• - Bilingual in English & Korean
• - Strong ability to analyze information.
• - Extensive experience with SAP Biz One preferred
• - Experience working in the US branch of listed company in Korea is strongly preferred.
• - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
